CADRA are currently working in collaboration with Innovating Communities to research ways to encourage community engagement in Carraroe, Co. Sligo. We feel that this project should serve as a means to revitalise our community, creating a focal point for social interaction and community involvement. Your opinions are very important to the success of this project, let us know what you think by completing our survey.
Who we are? The survey is being carried out by Carraroe and District Regeneration Assoc. with the participation of the Innovating Communities training project. Innovating Communities is a free training and mentoring project designed to empower local people and groups to work together and address Challenges facing their areas . The project is funded by Leader funding and led by design thinking trainers at Ice Cream Architecture. The group have agreed to undertake the research to the Project’s required ethical research and confidentiality standards. Who will have access to it? To maintain confidentiality, only the registered group will collate all the responses from the completed surveys. The collated information gathered will be anonymous unless specified contact details are provided. Once collated, the survey forms will be kept confidentially until completion of the project. At that stage all completed forms will be shredded. What it will be used for? The data collected will help to plan and develop actions for the village and the people who live here, to help make the project a reality inclusive of everyone in Carraroe.
