Talk and slide presentation by Martin Enright entitled ‘Lough Gill, Lakeview and Carraroe; Landscape, Heritage and Recent Developments’ will take place on Thursday 28th Nov at 8 pm in Sligo Park Hotel. We would like to invite all to this very interesting talk and slide presentation by former Carraroe National School Teacher Martin Enright. 50 years ago, this year Martin commenced teaching in Carraroe and has a wealth of knowledge of the area. We will be joined by local resident Damien Brennan who is working on listing all original family homes standing in the 1960s on a large map of the townlands of Carraroe area and this will give people opportunity to have their family name registered on the map for future generations.
