Support Your Local Community

Residents of the Carraroe Area will be aware of the work undertaken by CADRA over the past nine years to improve promote and represent our Community.

Over those years we have relied on our weekly Progressive 25 Card Game and Annual Church Gate collection to fund our ongoing activities. We have also received small grants from Sligo County Council for specific projects.

Unfortunately, due to the restrictions of COVID 19, we have not been able to undertake any fundraising but have continued, within social distance requirements, and the support of many dedicated silent volunteers, to work at keeping our Community safe and a nice place to live.

To assist us with the ongoing work required we are appealing to residents and friends who wish to support our efforts to consider making a donation, however small, will be appreciated.

Improving the quality of services and facilities in and around Carraroe and the District.

Planning Application Funding Appeal:

It is recommended that each household contribute €100 but any donation will be appreciated. It would be appreciated if funds could be in the dedicated account not later than Monday 31st January 2022.

We have been operating for over 5 years and have a number of regular projects such as keeping the area clean and tidy, keeping our community safe and informing our community of new services.

We also alert our community to anything we feel would be detrimental to the areas such as our concerns with the Lagan Application to recommence operations at the quarry in Aughamore.
